What is an Amulet?

Amulets are pieces of jewelry, which usually consist of stones and/or metals that often create words. An amulet is a charm worn for protection or to attract desirable qualities. It is believed by many that amulets attract positive energies to those who wear them. This form of adornment was common in ages past and is still worn today by people of many diverse cultures, philosophies and religions.

What is a Virtue Amulet?

By definition, a virtue is a good quality or something desirable. For this collection, Wren has selected the qualities of Health, Wealth, Love, Faith, Strength and Peace.
An eight-millimeter natural stone bead has been selected to represent each letter, which spells out the particular virtue. For example, the letter “H” in health is represented by heliotrope. While stones may have multiple qualities, heliotrope was selected for the specific quality of general healing. Each subsequent bead selection supports the concept of “health.”

How are Virtue Amulets Made?

Virtue Amulets are created with sterling silver chain and a sterling lobster clasp. The beads are natural, mined from the earth stones, so please be aware that the colors and patterns will vary. Each necklace comes with a card identifying the stones and their qualities and is packaged in an anti-tarnish pouch. They are available in three lengths: 16, 18 and 20 inches.

What about Delivery and Rates?

Delivery is usually accomplished within five business days after receipt of payment.
We ship Priority Mail, Delivery Confirmation. We cannot be responsible for orders after mailing so we recommend purchasing insurance.
Credit cards are accepted through PayPal at Wren’s e-mail address.

I don't use Pay Pal, what can I do?

Orders are also accepted vis US Mail. Please use the Virtue Amulet Order Form. Checks are gladly accepted but must clear the bank before shipment is made.
